Are you considering a marquee wedding in Cornwall? Boconnion is the perfect blank canvas wedding venue for any outside event.

Choosing a marquee wedding in Cornwall is the perfect way to create something bespoke, as well as including some DIY and personal touches. A marquee provides a blank canvas and they are certainly not what they used to be. We work closely with Absolute Canvas who are professional, passionate and flexible. There is nothing these guys don’t know when it comes to marquees and will always offer advice and guidance along the way.

Available for intimate weddings of 40 to big family affairs of 250, you have the choice of 4 locations throughout the grounds of the estate. All of our locations have been carefully planned out with measurements and CAD drawings so all you need to do is decide on numbers and pick your location! This blog will describe the different locations, marquee options and possibilities at Boconnion. We hope it’ll leave you feeling inspired and ready to get planning your marquee wedding in Cornwall!

Beech House Lawn

The Beech House Lawn is towards the entrance of the estate, next to the swimming pool. It is the biggest lawn at Boconnion and can accommodate a capacity of up to 250 guests. Your marquee/ tipi will be 100 metres away from the main house, so set away from the accommodation, and become its very own wedding setting.

Copper Beech Lawn

The Copper Beech Lawn is right next to the main Georgian Manor House. Here you can host up to 120 guests. The marquee will overlook the beautiful ancient oaks and beech trees, with easy access to the house too. Absolute Canvas offers a choice of 2 marquees, a circular and an oval style, to accommodate different numbers of guests.

Terrace Lawn

Boconnion’s Terrace Lawn is attached to the side of the Manor House and is the perfect setting for couples wanting to enjoy an intimate wedding outside. Whether you want to elope, host a small wedding in Cornwall or make it a purely private affair, you’ll love the Boconnion estate. For micro-weddings of up to 40 people, you’ll also have use of the main house kitchen and toilets. It couldn’t be simpler.

Mulberry Lawn

The Mulberry Lawn is tucked away beside the quaint, rustic Boconnion Barton, overlooking the forests and moors that surround the estate. You’ll have full use of the Barton facilities including the hot tub, kitchen, toilets and terrace. The Mulberry Lawn has a capacity for 100 people and is an idyllic setting for couples who want a rustic wedding in Cornwall.
