We welcome you and your guests to spend a weekend or a few days of celebrations at Boconnion, with accommodation provided for up to 44 guests. Whether you’re looking for a formal affair or a relaxed weekend, Boconnion is a fusion of rustic Cornish charm and traditional elegance.
This wedding venue in Cornwall gives you the total freedom to explore, relax and celebrate in whatever style suits you; take a long walk through the fields, watch the stars sparkling above the fire pit, jump on the tennis court, plunge into the heated swimming pool, relax in the wood-fired Swedish hot tub and fall in love all over again. All of the facilities are exclusively yours for the entirety of your stay.
Boconnion can accommodate weddings of all sizes from 12 - 250 and offers plenty of space for marquee weddings which can be placed in several different locations on the estate. The wedding itself or evening celebrations can take place in the Barton Barn which can seat up to 90 for your ceremony or sit-down wedding breakfast with a capacity for up to 250 guests over two floors for your evening reception.

Exclusive Wedding Hire
Celebrate over the whole weekend and enjoy the estate to the fullest. Relax the day before by the heated swimming pool or get some exercise on the tennis courts before the ceremony. Gather with a total of 44 guests over two or three days. Exclusive use of the Barton Barn or hire in a marquee for up to 250 guests.

Available for intimate weddings of 40 to big family affairs of 250, you have the choice of location throughout the grounds of the estate. We welcome you to tailor make every aspect of your special day.

Country House Elopements
For decadent yet understated luxury. Built in the 18th century, the grand Georgian country house is the perfect setting if you are looking for luxury. The living and dining room in the Manor House can seat 17 of your nearest and dearest and will offer you a formal yet intimate celebrant wedding celebration.

The Barton Barn
Boconnion’s Barton Barn is perfect for your indoor ceremony and reception. Overlooking undisturbed Cornish countryside, the Barton Barn is a beautiful country wedding venue. Designed by owner Rob, the barn retains many of its original features, including the outside dovecote and milling ironmongery. The bar itself has been fashioned from one of Boconnion’s own ancient oak trees. The exposed, original beams are ideal for adding your own decorations and the stunning slate floor is the perfect dance floor for a night of celebrations.
The Barn lies within the estate, near the Barton Farmhouse. It can accommodate a capacity of 80 seated guests on the top floor, or 90 on the ground floor, for your ceremony and wedding breakfast. We typically recommend having your celebration on the top floor which is flooded with natural light, and then moving to the lower floor for a wedding breakfast packed with rustic Cornish charm. Your caterer, picked from our list of suppliers, will have access to our dedicated kitchen space. We have detailed drawings available that depict the possible table plans and layouts.
For your reception, dance the night away in the Barton Barn! The reception capacity of the Barn is 250 people over 2 floors. There is plenty of space for a dance floor and a live band or DJ, plus areas to relax, tuck into the cake and have a catch up with loved ones.
