Decide on a budget

If you’re wedding planning budget is yet to be decided then I can advise on certain elements that’ll determine price. Exclusive weekend weddings in the height of summer are obviously the most expensive option, with mid-week, off-season weddings coming in at a cheaper rate. Caterers and other suppliers also need to be hired separately, and I work with an extensive list of independent businesses whom I can recommend according to budget, theme and taste.

Celebrant or church?

Planning a wedding at Boconnion may seem like a lot of flowers, frills and food, but you also need to book the actual marrying part! We offer celebrant-led ceremonies within the grounds and houses of Boconnion, led by our trusted partner Lisa of Celebrant in Cornwall and her associate Sam. Celebrant ceremonies are wonderful as they can be uniquely tailored to your relationship and wants, plus you can get married anywhere on the estate, from barefoot in the wildflower meadow to inside our beautifully renovated and rustic Barton Barn. If you want to go down the more traditional route then the ancient and picturesque church of St. Helena in Helland is only a 5 minute drive from the estate and fits a capacity of 75 people.
