Boconnion Real Weddings Inspiration: Tom and Jade

This summer we welcomed Tom and Jade to Boconnion to celebrate their wedding over a long weekend. Accompanied by family and friends, children and pets, the pair spent a glorious few days saying their vows, eating, drinking, playing games in the grounds and relaxing at the Boconnion estate.

Tom and Jade had the help of our in-house wedding planner Caroline Griffiths for the entirety of their planning process. Available from the moment of booking right through the wedding weekend itself, Caroline was on hand to suggest suppliers, give inspiration and help with the running order of the day.

Hair and makeup for the bride and her bridesmaids was provided by Sally Orchard. Jade and her girls used the Honeymoon Suite to prepare for the big day, with natural light streaming in through the floor length windows.

The couple were wed by Lisa of Celebrant in Cornwall outside in the garden.

“The Friday night we had a pool party which gave us the opportunity to spend time and catch up with family and friends staying at the venue. The Saturday (the wedding) was just spectacular. The Boconnion team went to all lengths to give us what we wanted - even helping us have our dog as the ring bearer!”

The happy couple decorated the estate with the help of one of our recommended florists, Floribunda, from north Cornwall. Creating bouquets, table arrangements and arches, Floribunda helped Tom and Jade bring their floral dreams to life using English flowers in creams and light pinks, and draping greenery.

Family and friends danced the night away alongside Tom and Jade in the Boconnion Reception Barn, which has been specifically designed for both meal and party! The couple decorated the barn to suit their personal style, with enormous green and white flower arrangements lining the tables and strings of fairy lights hanging from the exposed oak beams. They used round tables for the wedding breakfast and music supplied by the fabulous John Adams Band, whilst the cake was created by the Crafty Cakehole.

The entire day was captured by Dan Ward Photography and I Do Films. Tom and Jade made the most of the estates beautiful natural environment by heading out to the fields for a dreamy couples shoot in the sunshine.
