On the morning of the wedding day, groom Jamie enjoyed the luxuries of the master suite in the manor house, donning uniform for the formal occasion. Amy and her bridal party got ready in the Boconnion Stables, making the most of the original features, freestanding copper bath and natural light for those early morning shots, full of anticipation. The atmosphere was calm and joyful.

Once ready, Amy and her bridesmaids strutted their stuff on the meadow for group shots
The ceremony was held in the beautifully-restored Boconnion Barn. Guests were seated on wooden chairs beneath suspended greenery. The space’s exposed beams, original stone and soft lighting created a clean, unfussy backdrop.
Outside, guests gathered under the blossom trees for confetti and photographs. Drinks were served on the meadow, on rustic wooden barrels.

The couple were joined by their dog who played an important part on the day, joining them for portraits and family moments. Boconnion is a dog-friendly venue across the estate and welcomes all four-legged friends!
Amy and Jamie took advantage of the estate grounds for their portraits, while Boconnion Barn was transformed for the wedding breakfast. Long wooden tables were set with simple florals, candles and neutral tableware. Speeches were delivered before the meal, with guests seated closely together, creating a warm and communal atmosphere.
Before the evening party got underway, Amy and Jamie snuck out for their last photos of the day in the stunning golden hour light. With big, open skies and uninterpreted countryside across the Camel Valley, Boconnion is treated to some beautiful spring/summer evenings - a photographer’s dream.

Amy & Jamie’s gorgeous day came to a close with music, dancing and merriment. Truly a day to remember.
