Be it restorative yoga, corporate escapes, wellness getaways or team training events, we provide a beautiful and atmospheric blank canvas tailored to suit your exact needs. Our spaces are flexible, spacious and welcoming, allowing you to create a bespoke itinerary and unforgettable experience for your guests.

RETREAT FACILITIES ON OUR PRIVATE ESTATE

For organisers wishing to hire Boconnion to host a retreat, we have everything you need on site including both indoor and outdoor collaboration spaces. Our luxury accommodation sleeps a maximum of 37, with shared occupancy, across 3 properties. You can hire a combination of our accommodation and collaboration spaces or choose to have the whole estate to yourself. Either way, it’s a mindful, engaging environment for both host and attendees. LUXURY RETREAT-READY ACCOMMODATION

  • The Manor House – The main property on the estate, our beautiful Georgian Manor House has 5 double bedrooms (4 with en-suites) and 1 twin room, plus an additional attic dorm with separate bathroom that sleeps 5 (3 single beds and 1 double sofa bed). Renovated to exude relaxed indulgence while maintaining its original features, the Manor House has group living and dining spaces complete with a regularly tuned baby grand piano. Outside, there’s a large outdoor terrace and 4 acres of lawns and gardens including a heated swimming pool and tennis court

  • The Stables – The Stables is our most recent renovation project boasting large beds, a freestanding copper bath and private walled garden. It has 2 double en-suite bedrooms, plus 2 double sofa beds (one with a bathroom and one with shared facilities) if needed

  • The Barton – A relaxed option for a maximum of 12 people across 6 bedrooms (2 en-suite doubles, 2 en-suite twins, 2 doubles with shared facilities). The Barton includes lounge areas, games rooms, an upright piano and ample outdoor space to gather, complete with wood-fired hot tub

OUR SPACIOUS EVENTS BARN

Our two-story barn, with underfloor heating and sympathetic lighting, is the largest event space on site. The ground floor, with rustic beams and beautiful stone walls, provides a warm traditional atmosphere. Don’t miss the original cow stall names that still hang on the wall after first being installed over 300 years ago.

Off of the ground floor entertaining space is a professional kitchen fitted with industrial extractor fans and 5-ring gas oven. Accessible loos and a shower can also be found on the ground floor, tucked discreetly out of the way.

Upstairs, the first floor is bathed in natural light that pours in through floor-to-ceiling studio windows. There’s a wood burner for added atmosphere and warmth, and a beautiful wooden bar handcrafted from one of Boconnion’s ancient fallen oak trees.

CREATIVE & FLEXIBLE GROUP SPACES

Outdoor spaces – Take your pick from a wealth of outdoor options to host retreat sessions or gatherings. Within our 150 acres of private estate, there are woodland walks, open meadows and views of uninterrupted Cornish countryside. For something more formal, each property has group dining and recreation spaces

Woodland fire pit – Our brand-new fire pit area is yours for the duration of the retreat. Comfortably seating 9 and just a short walk from all accommodation options, it adds another dimension to your itinerary

Dining & catering – We have full catering facilities in The Barn, perfect for larger groups. We do not have an on-site chef but can recommend the best local talent and suppliers to suit your needs. Each property also has a beautiful, modern kitchen perfect for self-catering or private dining, as well as outdoor hosting options

SPECIAL EXTRAS FOR AN UNFORGETTABLE RETREAT

  • Private treatment room – Tucked away off the master bedroom in The Manor House, our treatment room is ideal for offering guests beauty and relaxation services

  • Heated swimming pool – Complete with sun loungers and pool house, retreat guests can make the most of our heated private pool during the summer months when staying in The Manor House

  • Tennis court – Just next to the pool in the grounds of The Manor House, you’ll find a well-maintained tennis court for active types and friendly competition

  • Hot tub – Located in the garden of The Barton, 8-10 guests can relax in a wood-fired hot tub under the stars
