Boconnion real wedding inspiration: Beth & Sean May 2025
Some wedding days feel special and some feel alive — filled with warmth, laughter and the kind of quiet, intimate moments that linger long after the last glass has been collected. Beth and Sean’s day in May 2025 at Boconnion, our secluded countryside estate in the heart of north Cornwall, was exactly that. Here’s how their weekend unfolded…

On the Friday night, Beth and Sean hosted their close family friends for a relaxed pool party in the ground of Boconnion House. With golden hour sun, an epic grazing table and casual drinks, it was the perfect way to kick off their wedding weekend.
On Saturday, the wedding day began in the soft light of the Boconnion Stables, where the bridal party gathered in matching robes, glasses raised in a quiet moment of anticipation. Laughter drifted beneath the exposed beams as everyone eased into the morning — a gentle, unhurried start that set the tone for the hours ahead. In the bridal suite, Beth stepped into her gown with the help of her mother.
Once ready, the bridal party moved over to Boconnion House. Beth descended the stairs, bouquet in hand — a private pause before the celebrations began.
The ceremony took place on the manor house lawn, framed by towering trees. Guests gathered on wooden benches as the wedding party made their way down the aisle, smiles all around. Two floral‑topped barrels marked the ceremony space, overflowing with greenery and pastel blooms.
As vows were read, the emotion was unmistakable — tears, laughter and the kind of connection that makes everyone present feel part of something bigger. When the couple shared their first kiss, the entire space erupted in applause as sunlight filtered through the branches above.
Boconnion was in full bloom, with cascades of purple wisteria draped across the manor house. One of the most joyful scenes came as the couple walked hand‑in‑hand through a shower of colourful confetti. Surrounded by cheering guests, it was vibrant and full of life.
After the ceremony, the couple wandered through the gardens and stone pathways for portraits. One of the most romantic moments came beneath the veil — a soft, glowing embrace that captured their joy with breath-taking simplicity.
The bridesmaids gathered for photos against the stone walls of the manor, with their champagne‑toned dresses and pastel bouquets.
The bride’s solo shots were equally striking — her gown sweeping across the gravel, framed by the historic stone façade and elegant architectural details.
Later, the couple slipped back up to Boconnion Stables. Still in their wedding attire, they collapsed onto the bed for a more relaxed photo opportunity.
From the morning preparations to the final quiet moments, this wedding was a celebration of love in its truest form — heartfelt, elegant and deeply personal. Boconnion’s secluded Cornish setting provided the perfect backdrop.
It was an honour to host such a beautiful celebration, and we wish this wonderful couple a lifetime of happiness.
