A marquee wedding at Boconnion can cater for micro weddings, small weddings of up to 60, and big family affairs of 250. Our most popular suggestion is a wedding marquee for events with over 90 guests.
As a dry hire weekend wedding venue in Cornwall, our couples have full creative control over every aspect of their celebration, including the set up of the marquee. We encourage our couples to get expressive with table arrangements, florals and styling. Whether you dream of classically elegant, boho glam, modern stretch tents or that festival glamping vibe, we are here for it! Want an elaborate entrance? (We’ve had bagpipes, Ibiza style saxophonists, Land Rovers…) Tell us what you want and we’ll help make it happen.

The Boconnion Marquee Meadow
We pitch all our marquees on our beautiful meadow. This open, green space has uninterrupted views of the North Cornwall countryside as you face away from the estate and a backdrop of our rustic stone Boconnion Barn and as you look back towards it. It is surrounded by blossom and bluebells in the spring and seasonal blooms in the summer, with ancient trees rising to the sides. It is the perfect spot for summer sunsets and balmy drinks receptions outside on the grass, with couples often spilling out into the adjacent field for those must-have golden hour photoshoots.
